Bloody brilliant mate! I replaced a Teko sha P3 with one and it pulls the van up much better. The other good thing is that the control is one little knob that sits in the dash somewhere - no bulky box near your knee. Had mine in two cars now and wouldn't use anything else.
I will confess to knowing the owner of Redarc, but having been through his state of the art factory and knowing his business philosophy, only further supports my view on the quality of product and customer support.

Thanks Gerry, I have the earlier model in the X5. It works fine. I fitted it because the others are too bulky and take up room where my knees need to be. I think this new model will be even better.
Lots of snobs around who poo poo them but we know what we do with them, right?
Had a Tekonsha P3 in my Pajero but have a Redarc in the Jeep. Redarc is better BUT make sure when they fit it that the button will push in and work the brakes. Mine did not and I had to modify it.
That's actually interesting mr J. I had a similar issue when I fitted mine and spoke with one of their techos who was aware of the issue. It's to do with the thickness of the dash material. There was a reason why there was a thickness limit bit I can't remember what it was.

I have heard of several people having this problem, surely they could make the shaft a tad longer. The dial doesn't stick out much so a bit more wouldn't hurt.
No problems with mine though.

Its the quality of the vehicles boys. Those with thin bits wont have a problem but with the class that gerryp and i have things are a bit more substantial.

Hugo, it was some obscure legal thing that pissed him off as well cos he wasn't able to change it. There must be some standard to do with electric brakes or something???

b ut the dealer you have shown is also an Adelaide guy, whom I've done business with a few times, his name is Adam and his delivery and communication are fantastic
I ordered and payed for my gel batteries from him as 7pm one night and they arrived here at 3pm the next day I had contacted him about returns shoud one fail and I had an answer within an hour, he was willing to meet at a post office near his place to do an exchange is something went wrong rather than me "posting" the item back
